This tool will calculate the Total Swath for a given depth (sonar altitude) and Swath Angle.
Enter the sonar altitude (depth) and your swath in degrees. The calculation will give you the linear distance between extreme outer beams (swath width) and the Minimum Range Setting on the sonar to achieve it.
